Blakenall Village Centre has been widely acclaimed as an iconic, flagship building. Designed by the community, for the community and firmly embeded in community ownership. It is a genuine expression of what New Deal: New Horizons is all about - raising aspirations within the neighbourhood in an environment that encourages self improvement. A very visible, practical demonstration of what a community can achieve.

Library A new library is included with the Blakenall Village Centre facility; a welcome addition as there was previously no library service within the area.
